Charlton is a village to the west of Andover and an independent Ward from Harroway.
 
However, it has its own church, pub and village stores. The area was settled in the bronze age and by the time of the Domesday survey the village already had twenty-seven households.
 
Today the lakes are a popular recreation place for the whole area and the local MP finds our local cycle shop Behind the Bikeshed of great value!
