Hannington

Hannington is set on a hill and is the highest for many miles, hence the siting here of a main TV mast. It is also a settlement of great antiquity, and All Saints' church dates in parts to the Saxon age. The village also boasts an active brass band, founded in 1925 and "available for concerts at any venue, fetes, exhibitions, house parties etc."

Hannington itself has a fine country fair every two years - one of the largest and most popular village events in Hampshire. The village also has the stables of the Vine and Craven Hunt, while The Vine is the village pub.
