Set in the midst of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village centre of Vernham Dean is a conservation area, but there are more modern houses around the village. Very nearby, you can visit three counties in the space of a few minutes, where the borders of Hampshire meet those of Wiltshire and Berkshire.
